About
Retired after 40 years in healthcare. At the time of my retirement, I was a vice president of operations with one of the largest physician management companies in the U.S and was considered a national expert on emergency department triage. I authored articles for professional journals and chapters in a reference book. More recently I edited and published posthumously The Antiheroes, a novel written by my son Abe Sulfaro, as well as a collection of his prose and lyrics. Co-eternals--A Story of Entangled Consciousness is my first novel and the sequel to The Antiheroes. I'm currently working on the biography of a Detroit percussionist who was born with cerebral palsy. I live in Italy part of the year to help our son Josh, a guitarist and composer, and my daughter-in-law, Heather, an occupational therapist, to run a countryside farmhouse/villa located next to the Chapel of the Pilgrims on the ancient Via Francigena (The Pilgrims' Way). My husband Michael is a retired auto worker and an avid outdoorsman.
